SIDE-BY-SIDE
CHURCH INTERNATIONAL
Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking
• Prostituted girls are often controlled by a pimp (Trafficker) who recruits them into sex trafficking
by posing as a boyfriend, caretaker, and protector.
• The three primary manifestations of child sex trafficking in America are:
pimp-controlled prostitution, familial prostitution, and/or survival sex.
At Side-By-Side Church International, we are appalled to the point of ACTION at this insidious form of modern-day slavery. Children being sexually exploited for the benefit of a Trafficker. Being appalled is not enough! There must be ACTION to identify, locate and restore children who are victims; often incorrectly labeled "child prostitutes."
While many people are aware of this slavery in developing nations, they are unaware this is a problem in everyone's backyard. That's right...here in the USA. And not just in the big cities. It's everywhere. You just need to know what to look for and what to do once you see it.
We want to educate and prepare people to combat the manipulation, control and outright abuse the Traffickers use to control these children. You can help end these blatant acts of emotional and physical abuse that lead to the sexual exploitation of children.
